faith & work
Equipping Christians in Oxford to work for the glory of God.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as if working for the Lord, not for men”
Most of us have to work. Whether it’s to earn a living, to care for a family, to study or engage in research, to volunteer to serve others, to create art or make music, or to train as an athlete, it involves work – often hard work. Our aim is to equip people to understand more about how the Christian faith is relevant to all aspects of everyday life, so that we can serve God more effectively, be good news on our front line (whatever kind of work that may involve) and find fulfilment in our work. Every job will bring unique challenges that Christians must learn to navigate in order to glorify God in the work that they undertake.
We’ve curated a wide range of resources to help you learn more, go deeper, discover new ideas and understand why your daily work matters to God and why God should matter to your work.
