An antidote for worldly fear is fear of the Lord, recognising his holiness, power, majesty, and grace grips us with deep and overwhelming reverence for him.

Love In Action
What is this ‘Love in action’ that Paul talks about in Romans 12:9-13?
Mark describes this as a covenant love, a faithful love, a love which reflects God’s love for us. It’s a constant love, it’s practical, honouring and it’s devotional.
We’re called to share our very hearts with people and that can be demanding. In order to action this type of love fully we need to be filled by the Holy Spirit who restocks and replenishes us, lighting the fire for this sincere love in our hearts.

Our society is inwards focused, however in the kingdom of God, the focus is no longer on ourselves, but on others. The hallmark of a life transformed by Jesus is their generosity & humility. Simon reminds us that God is a gift giver and that we in turn are to use those gifts for others.
